So this blog is supposed to be about food, but apparently not everyone is as obsessed with eating as I am so… I’ve decided to expand beyond the food. I’m a pretty opinionated person and a lot of things get on my nerves. One of the many things is when you’re in a public space with seating (bus, train, movie theater, bathroom, etc.) and there are multiple seats around yet a stranger feels the need to sit next to you. Why???? I don’t know you. You don’t know me. Look at all this space. I have to use public transportation to get to work these days instead of having the luxury of hopping into my car 20 mins before I’m expected to be there and getting there on time (or a few mins late). Today I get on the train and it’s practically empty, I can feel it happening. In the blink of an eye there is another being next to me yet there are several empty seats all around us. With no shame in my game, I got up and moved. As someone who suffers from claustrophobia I couldn’t do it. Didn’t help that the person was a little on the heavier side. Nothing wrong with that, unless you’re trying to sit next to me and suffocate me. I’m not going out like that. It’s also very obnoxious when there are barely any seats available and someone wants to give their bag a seat. The moral of the story is that people are annoying, but that’s life. I’ll most likely add to this post everyday since everything grinds my gears and venting is better than fighting everyone I see. I’m 5’2″ what am I really going to do to anyone? Tall people fight, short people blog.
