What we ordered:

We started off with the Brown Sugar Babe cocktail with dark rum, chocolate walnut bitters, cinnamon, orange zest and the Lift Off ($17) with Aviation Gin, elderflower, cucumber, fresh mint. I didn’t try the former, but I enjoyed the latter. I love gin and elderflower. The drink was light, refreshing, but overpriced. The cocktails are not part of their golden hour deal.

We recently had this dish at another restaurant and really enjoyed it so we ordered it and it did not disappoint. The cool crisp cucumbers with the chili oil is a delicious combo. I honestly could snack on it in lieu of chips, but will I? Nah, bring on the Doritos. For $12, the ratio of food to the price is questionable, but expected when factoring the location and inflation. If you don’t have money to blow you could skip this one.

We ordered the sweet and sour pork dumplings and General Tso’s chicken dumpling. I’m going to be honest, I can’t remember which one was which. They were tasty, but not our favorite. We didn’t love how thick the dough was. The best ones were the veggie dumplings.

Vegetarians are winning with this one. The veggie dumplings with the crunchy garlic on top was the fan favorite. We ordered two and it still wasn’t enough. We coulda shoulda woulda ordered only veggie dumplings.

I love scallion pancakes, but usually they are a little too greasy for my enjoyment. This panini style version was thicker and less greasy, but with bulgogi beef, mozzarella cheese and spicy mayo, I definitely wasn’t saving any calories. It was really good though and our second top dish. I didn’t take a picture of it, but for dessert we ordered the green tea mochi ($10). They also have mango crepes, but my friend is allergic to mango so we didn’t try that one.
Bottom line: This was a cool, vibey spot with tasty bites and drinks. Go for “golden hour” and actually take advantage of the drink specials and 50% off food.
